Hungry Hungry Hippos is a tabletop game made for 2–4 players, produced by Hasbro. The idea for the game was published in 1967 by toy inventor Fred Kroll and it was introduced in 1978. The objective of the game is for each player to collect as many marbles as possible with their “hippo” (a toy hippopotamus model). Info from Wiki.
The game has been referenced in The Simpsons (1992), Mystery Science Theater 3000, Donnie Darko (2001), Toy Story 3 (2010), My Little Pony: The Movie (2017), The Last Man on Earth (2017), Safe Havens (2018), Space Force (2020), and in The Afterparty (2022).
Below is a list of some of the different Game of Life versions, editions, and licenses that have been created over the years by Hasbro and other games partners.
NOTE: I did not work on all the below versions, this is simply a list I’ve compiled as a fan and player of Game of Life.
